Just found out today who did the backing vocals on Roxy Music's Avalon from years back. Still the most amazing thing I ever heard, raising the song to be a production very few - maybe none - will ever equal. Breathtaking. Thanks

I first heard her in 1987,I think,from her "Miste'Damou" laser.Boy, I'll tell ya,She is a vocalist!Her voice is no match to any Haitian vocalist out there;not even Emeline Michel that I adore dearly.Yanick,please make some more cds!.

I listened to "Avalon" when I was still very young then. The sweet female voice captivated me.

Fast forward many years later and I was at www.songfacts.com trying to find out more about "Avalon". Your name popped out and I googled it.

Now, I know the mysterious and beautiful voice behind the song.
